Game crashes at world load - for months

Can't get games to load because game keeps crashing every time I try to load one of my save worlds.  Happens with saved worlds or new worlds I create.  Not every time, but 85% of the time.  Game tries to load and then screen goes black and the switch system screen says "The software was closed because an error occured."  This has been happening on and off for months, through previous versions, as well.  There is a lot of chatter on forums about this.  Please try to get it fixed.  Seems to be a long standing problem on the Switch.
