My skin is switched with my friends when they join my world

Whenever my friends join my world in Minecraft PE my skin is changed to theirs and when i try to change my skin back to normal it changes their skin to my skin. It’s annoying the hell it of me. It’s been happening since they re-did the way you change your skins in Minecraft. Anyone else have this problem or is my iPad or Minecraft on my iPad playing up?
