Can't connect to world

Whenever my friends and I try to join or start a minecraft world, we get the issue "can't connect to world." It is not a connection issue, it worked perfectly fine on console edition and on every other game. We tried reinstalling, signing out of Microsoft, disabling crossplay, etc. None of it works
