Journey To The West Skin Pack - Invisible items in hand (third person view)

I bought today this pack because i really like it. But i noticed that items in my hand in third person view are invisible.

It only happens when i use skins from this pack. I'm afraid that can be considered as cheating on some servers.

 

Also i can't connect to some servers with these skins, but I'm not sure this is related to invisible items.
