PS4 Bedrock unresponsive controls

Gamepad controls in ps4 bedrock are janky. Horizontal camera moves too fast, but vertical moves too slow. Also, building is a disaster because the L2 trigger needs to be squeezed aaaaallll the way to place a single block. It feels nothing like the smooth, crisp controls of ps4 console edition. I have 2 DS4 controllers; both have the same issue and both function perfectly normal in other games.
