Ender dragon xp

When you kill the ender dragon all the xp fall in one spot and falls through the portal.
I expected the xp to explode like it used to.
It actually all falls into one spot and goes through the exit portal. I had to search around spawn to find the xp and couldn’t share it with friends who helped me.
You could see this for yourself by killing the ender dragon.
