XBox One Can't Cross platform game

After the new update, I cannot access any options to cross platform game. No friends show as available to join, not getting invites, no access to any menus or options that even remotely mention or could be cross platform

 

*was attempting to play on Xbox with friend on ps4 that has updated their game and created the live account and is currently able to play on their ps4
