crash with side ways blocks

When placing a side ways block like a wood block, breaking it and collecting it causes it to appears on its own in your inventory instead of adding to your existing stack, tapping on the block in your inventory causes the game to crash, I've replicated this 5 times over on 5 separate worlds to be sure of it
