When playing multiplayer custom skins do not work.

I've been having problems with Minecraft windows 10 edition not being able to use custom skins when I play on multiplayer servers. (I always look like someone else). It always affects our whole group when we game, when we sign in the skins we have don't work and we look like each other's skins. There are also issues when we try to use custom skins, half the time they don't register.
