Game Crash When The Game Rendered A Pillager Patrol

I was out exploring my world and I was wandering through a dense forrest, I believe it was Birch forrest biome, and as I was coming around a tree the game loaded in a Pillager Patrol and as soon as I put my cross hairs over the patrol members my game crashed. When i reopened the world the patrol had despawned completly.
