Auto-Jump is broken

Auto-jump is forcing me to jump randomly when walking/running. It also jumps when colliding with any structure while walking/running, making it nearly impossible to run into a doorway.
I did see someone had posted about a similar issue back in September but the issue is unresolved and support hasn’t even responded to it.
