Bought a shirt in character creator, it now says I have to buy the same shirt again and all my remaining Minecoins have disappeared

I bought a shirt in the character creator a little while ago and used it on my character but it now shows up as needing to be bought again, and all remaining Minecoins I had after that transaction have completely disappeared. I had not bought anything with them previously or after.
