My game restarts/crashes when picking up custom skin

Whenever I try to load a custom skin from my gallery my game crashes, this has already happened to me back in version 1.13.3 and I was once successful with loading the skin I wanted, just ONCE. I've tried countless times to load other skins and I never succeed. I need you to fix this bug please.
