Boat Bounces Extremely High after getting the boat while the boat is on a bed or slime block.

When I place down any type of boat on any type of block with bouncy properties (ex. beds or slime blocks) and get in the boat, me and the boat are bounced very high into the air. The different bouncy blocks do not appear to make the boat bounce any higher than the other blocks. This works with all boats and all bouncy blocks.
