Coral fans/plants die much faster when a block next to it changes

The bug

When a block next to a coral plant or fan changes, it dies very soon after. If no block was changed, it survives for a few more seconds. Does not affect coral blocks.

How to reproduce

Place a coral plant and watch how long it takes for it to die
Place another coral plant and then place any block next to it (this one dies way faster)
