Game deletes random parts of the map upon computer restart

I came back into my world after a computer restart only to find that large parts of the map have been deleted. Also parts of the map went back to how it was when I spawned at the beginning. There's still parts of my house there, but there's also parts where the game reverted back to the beginning of when I created the world and just placed block right back where they originally were.
