Game keeps freezing/crashing

My dad and I have a LAN world on Bedrock Edition. My dad plays on an Xbox One S and I play on my PC. Ever since the recent update, my dad's game keeps freezing. I've tried adjusting the visual settings, to no avail. One reason I can think of is the world is rather large (about 500 MB), but it just happens randomly so I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
