You can't place blocks unless they are in front of you

 So I first updated my family's IPad to play Minecraft on. And then I get into the world that I want to play in ( by the way I was excited about the foxes) so I wanted to build a fence around the animals when I realized that the update had triggered a glitch/bug so that I could only destroy/build if I was looking directly at the block where I wanted to build on. I hope you can fix this bug.     From,Alexa 

P.S I am ten years of age and I think that the bug makes it a lot harder, my dad is forty-eight years old and struggles with this bug.
