Shields not blocking tipped Arrow effects

 

 

 problem: when a tipped arrow hits you even if you have your shield up you still git the poison effects

 

how its supposed to work: when a tipped arrow hts your shield it blocks the damage and the effect.

whats broken: it blocks the arrow damage but not the effect.

 

why this should be fixed: if you start in a snowy tundra biome and you craft a shield to protect yourself from the strays and you get slowness and is annoying if you live in a snowy biome.

 

how to reproduce: spawn a strays and block is arrow with a shield.
