app not working on iPad after update

We updated the app Version 1.13.0 on an iPad3 with iOS 9.3.5 and now the app does not start. It loads the Mojang logo , then white page and the app exits. I reinstalled the app with no luck. Formatted the iPad and reinstalled the app, still no luck.
