Cartographers trade maps without Compasses

When trading with Cartographers and buying woodland explorer maps and ocean explorer maps the villager only takes the emeralds and not the Compass

this problem has appeared on my redmi 7 and i think it is beneficial for me it will save some iron and redstone but the game is not meant to be played using these exploits

Expected Result

the villager takes a compass and 16 emeralds for a woodland explorer map

 

Actual Result

the villager takes only 16 emeralds and gives me the map

 

while this is a small exploit , this is not the right trade i have also included a screenshot for the same
