Minecraft PE purchased, but won't open

I purchased / downloaded the minecraft app to my ipad on November 5, 2019.  Everytime I try to open the app I get the mojang screen, then it goes white, then is closes.  The order ID  MVQM4LVHDW

 

I have contacted apple to get a refund and have also contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge.  I am unable to find ANY information on updates or fixes.  I do not want to the product/app since it will not work.
