Minecraft Bedrock randomly crashes saying theres a "communication error" and long startup screen.

Whenever I open up the game It takes 8-10 minutes to load up - black screen, then white, then developer splash. And while I'm playing in a realm, a personal world, or even joining in on a friend's world I'll crash randomly and say there's a "Communication Error." My switch software is up to date and so is the software for Minecraft bedrock. I've deleted the game a redownloaded it, restarted the switch, even logged out of my Mojang account and logged back in. This is beginning to become very frustrating.
