Game keeps crashing randomly

When me and my friend found a pillager outpost we raided it but my friend kept crashing twice, i thought his PC had a problem but when we left and a day later i went out on my horse and saw a few pillagers, when i approached them i crashed and Minecraft closed, i tried 3 more times but i keep crashing, i don't know if this is to do with the pillagers, sorry if this has already been said.
