I spawn in walls and die, lose everthing i had in my inventory. Happens when going in/ out of portals

Im pretty sick of going through portals and while the loading screen is still up, being able to hear myself die becaused it spawned me inside a wall and i die of suffocation. It goes for both Nether and End. I just found the End portal will do that too after it just happened and i lost everything of value cough dragon egg and armor cough so thanks for that. It was honestly a more depressing end of game experience than MW2. Looks like my countless hours of grinding for God armor and weapons was a total waste. Ive never had my time wasted so badly. PLEASE FIX THIS!!
