Minecraft app crashes within seconds on iPad 3, 4 and mini

Minecraft is crashing upon loading across a variety of iPads.  Same problem EVERYONE else is having...... BUT no where have I seen or read a statement that says Mojang is or will address this!  Do you have a public relations person? Is he on vacation? 
Consumers just want reassurance that this crash due to the most recent update will be rectified.
