Store doesnt work

I tried to get minecraft realms on minecraft pocket edition. But every time i tried it said marketplace not working. Then after a closed the app and opened it again it wouldnt let me open the store, it would just go back the the homescreen. I downlouded the update online as after i got minecraft on playstore it would not update
