Minecraft pe crashes at Mojang screen since 10-29 update

After the most recent update, minecraft crashes while loading. It gets to the mojang screen then app shuts. Is there a patch or work around? The same issue had been happening on my second iPad with iOS 12.4.3, but that appears to have been corrected and is now working. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
