Virtual keyboard messes up hotbar

If you are On slot 9 in your hotbar and then go to do a command, when the virtual keyboard shows up, it switches to slot 8

Plz fix this soon because my keyboard broke so I have to use virtual keyboard and now because of this I cannot do /enchant
