Safe Area Won’t Line Up

In the settings menu, where it has you adjust the screen safe area, it initially starts off way too high and so the corner indicators. Everything ends up being too high on the display and the bottom as well as both the sides usually have a bit of empty space. cannot be lined up with the corners of the display.
