Bought the nether coat on the character creator and have to buy it again

So I bought the nether coat in the character creator so I can make a cool skin. A few days later I loaded up the game and my character didn't seem to load. I kept retrying and retrying to load the character. Then I deleted the character, but when I tried to recreate the character the nether coat was shown as if I didn't buy it so basically it still had the minecoin symbol on the bottom right corner and I didn't even get a refund. Can I either get the nether coat back or get a refund please.
