Can’t play game due to “skin still loading”

Since the new update of v1.13.0, that came with the character selection and foxes, I have not been able to enjoy the game. It lets me choose my world, but will not let me get pass the "your selected skin is still loading." I have restarted the game, restarted the xbox, and have let the game load during the night while I was sleeping (8 hours). However, it still keeps me from playing the game. This have been this way for about 2 weeks.
