App won't load on iPad. White screen then crash

After purchasing app, the app loads with the mojang logo then the screen goes white then it crashes and returns to iPad home screen. Tried rebooting iPad and nothing changes. There are a lot of angry reviews after the last update on October 29 speaking of the same issue.
