I am unable to import any texture pack that is in .McPack format to my game.

Dear Mojang Bug Report Analysis Crew

When I try to import a texture pack I had downloaded using the directions listed on the minecraft website for add-ons, it opens minecraft but does not give me a message that the texture pack was being imported. I tried this on many different texture packs and the same thing happened. If you could possibly get this fixed, it will be very appreciated because I am trying to make a texture pack for the people of my YouTube channel but i am unable to import it into the game because of this new 1.13.0 update bug.
