Dispensers cause crafting to stop working

Whenever I am use a dispenser for my minigame i set up, it causes the players crafting to stop working. The dispensers are meant to give the player items that they can craft into armor, blocks, etc. However, when they attempt to craft the items while they are being given the items, that’s when it starts breaking. Any suggestions?
