Issue with stairs

Hi let's get to the point I've found an issue. With the stairs in bedrock edition. When you try to run up a set of stairs with auto jump on. The player jumps without touching the jump button it makes going up stairs slow and going down deadly. When I run down some stairs I some jump and I get fall damage. It only seems to happen when I touch a block beside me. It's getting really annoying. Turning off auto jump helps. Plz if you could plz fix this for the new mcpe update
