Minecraft crash and hasn’t loaded since last IOS update

The most recent update to Minecraft has  corrupted the game, making it unusable 

and unable to load across multiple iPad versions (2, 3, and 4 and mini). 

I have invested a great amount of money in the game and it’s “add-ons”.

To be told “delete it” , “start over” is UNACCEPTABLE! My autistic son has worked for 4 years on his worlds and is very proud of what he’s created.  Please fix this error or revert your update. If consumers don’t obtain resolution from the tech department, the BBB may be a logical place to start a case.
