[Resolved] Farmer villagers always pick up food items before the player

The player cannot obtain a food item within his or her hitbox if a farmer villager is near enough; the farmer takes the item before the player can. This occurs for bread, seeds, wheat, carrots, & likely the other crops as well (excepting the poisonous potato).
