People's custom skins are the same for some reason even when changing

When I was in a costume party in Minecraft with my friends every time we changed to a custom skin we would become someone else's skin and it looked different on everyone's Pc. I believe this is because of the new skin maker. I don't want you to delete the new way of getting skins I just want it to be fixed somehow.
