Stuck in chat

I am stuck in the chat and there is a cluster of tabs in the top right corner. The only way to get out of the chat is to close out the game. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it does not fix the problem. On the other reports like this it says that it was resolved. I have not received any updates if that is the case for a bug fix. But this bug makes the game unplayable.
