Skin won't load at all and can't access 'Edit Character' or my worlds

I loaded minecraft up then it said syncing data as usual then my skin loaded but then it said loading Resources and my skin unloaded and a looping loading sign where my skin used to be appeared and I can't change my skin or access my worlds.
