Mojang white screen off back to iPad home page

Last night 29/10/19 v 1.12.1 was working fine this morning we had an update and now when we try to play mine craft we mojang white screen then goes off back to iPad home page don’t know what is happening but seems to be one thing after another please can you give me some advice on how I can make things better thanks
