dragonslyer skin wont save

The dragonslayer skin I got from the Lego set doesn't save on the new skin selector. Everytime  I add it it says it saves but if I reload minecraft or go into the marketplace its just a steve or an alex. Could you guys also fix the random blue strips on the bottom of the hands
