Can't sign into my Windows 10 version of Minecraft

I click the bottom left sign in button and get the error "We tried to sign in to your Microsoft Account, but something went wrong".

I have: uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled, I have also tried to sign in through the settings. I have updated versions of Microsoft, Xbox apps, and Minecraft.

If this is use. It works on my desktop with the same account, but now I am trying to play on my laptop.
