Blackscreens when recieving notifications

Hello to whom this may concern, whenever I receive a notification on the console edition of Minecraft, the screen turns black and glitches out until the notification message fades off. I just lost a massive amount of rare items because of this issue, including 3 elytras and frankly, I am quite upset about this issue. It is quite a bother when one gets an achievement only for the screen to go black and then you go back to a death screen. Also if possible could I get my stuff back from this ordeal, my Xbox account is hurtlocker069. Thank you in advance for any response.

PS - if needed, the next time this happens I will send an image of the glitched out screen.
