Texture Packs by Minecraft have a dark "patch"

Texture Packs by Mojang/Minecraft have an odd dark "patch" in the sky during a certain section of the panorama. I have noticed this on both Natural and Plastic texture packs. I tested 3rd party packs and they seem fine. Will submit photo in a few.
