render distance

Render distance is grayed out, at first we thought it was because my friend uploaded this world with minimum render distance selected. so we decided i should upload it, with 32 render distance, alas it remains 4 chunks.

Clearly this must be a bug because anno 2019 and it's not even java edition. IT cannot be this was intended, as 4 chunks makes it impossible to create complex redstone builds as it breaks them because the chunks aren't loaded.

I cannot even believe 4 chunks was an option, it should be MINIMUM 16, which is still too small.

please fix this, or tell me how.
