Freezing windows 10 on login

Minecraft loads main title fine but the moment I sign into Microsoft account (from the title menu) it freezes to the point I have to reset my computer. I’m running 16gb of ram, and am able to run other titles just fine. Minecraft just freezes, and doesn’t let me close out of it, not even with ctrl+alt+del
