Player Mob Eggs in the Creative Inventory

I'm not sure if this is a Bug or a Feature. But i was checking out the new 1.13.0.18 Beta Update when i came across the Mob Eggs. Nothing really came to me at first except for the fact that the Mob Eggs are now Alphabetical. Then i saw it, a plain black Mob Egg. It had a long name but i forgot, I've only remembered the last part and it read "...minecraft:player.name". So i spawned one, and it was a Steve, No AI, but it can take damage. I quickly stashed some Eggs somewhere thinking it might get removed. I need answers.
