Placing Cake And Reeds crashes the whole game on all ios device

I first found this out while i was making a reed farm and then when i placed the reeds it crashed my iPhone then i went on creative and tried making a reed farm and crashed my game then i placed a cake still crashed and then i was wondering is it just my iphone so i tryed it on my ipad it did the same thing and my ipod it did it again. i then went on my ipad in creative and tried all the items and it works all ok but only the cakes and reeds crashes the game its very irritating because i keep forgetting about it

Edit: i forgotten that the reeds are now called sugar canes i keep forgetting
